Understanding God, is intended to help Christians & non-Christians understand God and how they relate to Him.
Why?
I wrote Understanding God: Four Things You Need To Know About Him And Realize About Yourself because I, like many people, have/had questions about God.
How can you know God?
If God is real, can you trust Him?
If God is loving why would He allow me to go through this?
Understanding God addresses these questions, among others, in a meaningful, easy to understand way.
This book explains what grace, faith, and repentance mean by looking at four important aspects concerning a relationship with God:
- Receiving God
- Needing God
- Trusting God
- Sharing God
This book also shares about the role of the Holy Spirit, evangelism, and why it is important to depend upon God’s help everyday.
Included is a Now What sections that encourages believers to be water baptized, to find a church, and, if needed, to seek help and recovery. Each section provides resources and help to do so.
The very last page of this book is a Salvation Card that can be torn out. This allows for evangelists and prayer teams to easily follow up with those they have prayed with while still providing the new convert with useful information that will guide them in their new faith in Jesus Christ.
Whether you are curious about God or a new believer Understanding God will help provide clarity to some of the questions that you have about what it means to have a relationship with God.
